Sports Day Our whole school sports day is on Thursday 27th June on our school field. The children have been busy practicing, and we are very much looking forward to it. Everyone is welcome to come and support the children and cheer them all on. The children will be told what colour tee shirt to wear for the event. You do not need to buy new tee shirts, they can wear white and we will pin a colour ‘badge’ onto them to show which team they are in. Please make sure that your child comes to school with sun cream already applied. If they need to put some on during the day, it must be clearly marked with their name, and they must be able to apply this themselves. A hat is essential, as is a water bottle to keep the children hydrated. All children will be given an ice pop after the event to keep cool. If you do NOT wish your child to be given the ice-pop you must message your class teacher on See Saw or email admin@belton-lane.lincs.sch.uk. Please do not call the school to see if the sports day is going ahead. If we have to cancel, we will let parents know by 12.15 pm through ParentPay. Parents/Carers should not arrive before 12.45 pm. Please do not walk over to the children at any time, they will be under the care of the class teachers and staff. To round off this exciting day we should have an ice cream van on site should parents want to cool down too!
