We were lucky enough to have a very special visitor come and deliver an assembly to us this week. Richard is a Paralympic Gold Medallist, Marathon Runner, Diversity & Inclusion Champion and Motivational Speaker. Richard is currently travelling the world to complete his goal of running 20 marathons throughout 2025, bringing his total to an amazing 100 marathons!

Richard delivered an inspirational assembly, emphasising that everyone will have a “golden medal moment” whether that is in sport, the classroom, careers or another key moment in their future. He spoke about celebrating difference and the importance of never giving up.
