Environment

We are tremendously lucky to have a huge outdoor space within which our school sits.

Belton Lane schools' outside area has to be seen to be believed! It is enormous. Not only do we have our own field where we are able to enjoy football, team sports and our annual Sports Day, but we also have separate areas for both KS1 and KS2. These areas are equipped with outdoor resources including basketball pitches and an area planted with mature trees and shrubs.

Belton Lane has its very own vegetable patch and flower garden planted by the children every year. The area is truly inspirational! Stimulating and beautifully maintained our outside area offers our children the very best in outdoor learning environment within the classrooms.

At our school, the environment is valued as a tool for learning. Both indoor and outdoor environments are well resourced and appropriate to the ages and experiences of our children. Each workspace reflects and enhances our current curriculum theme whilst stimulating thought, creativity and promoting the development of personal and social interaction. By providing this environment, our children become fully engaged in their learning.
